Home from vacation!

>We had an amazing vacation. Boston was wonderful and has totally cracked into our list of favorite places. We stayed in the South End, not far from the Back Bay T station. Pretty much everything about Boston was great except the North End. You know the stereotype of abrasive, angry Italian people in Boston? Yeah well, it’s dead on in the North End. It made me sad because everyone else in Boston was super friendly and all we were doing was getting a pizza but we still managed to encounter several really unpleasant people. Yikes. Luckily the pizza was extra delicious and we quickly left the area in search of friendlier people.

Aside from that, Boston rocked and I have about a million pictures to share. The wedding on Saturday in Maine was beautiful. I mean, really, really gorgeous. I’ve already decided that to me, the natural beauty of a venue (i.e. the ocean) is the most important thing to consider when deciding where to get married and my friend definitely chose well. Check out this view!

All in all, the trip was a lot of fun and it felt really good to go on vacation! Doesn’t it always? Unfortunately Senor got sick when we were in New York and I managed to catch the same stomach bug about two hours after we landed yesterday. Yuck. I’m sitting at home drinking ginger ale and munching on saltines at the moment. Over all, I don’t think stomach flu is the greatest ending to a great vacation but hopefully it’ll be over soon.
